A few weeks prior to my business going down in 2009, I was pressurised by the Bank into allowing a Charge on my property, and signing a Personal Guarantee. This was subsequently called upon, but I challenged it on the basis of it being incorrectly executed. The Bank stopped chasing me, however I was stuck due to the charge on my property, and had no idea how to challenge or remove it. Following a recommendation, I reached out to Mel who told me I may be able to claim that the PG was statute barred. Both Mel and Steve were excellent!
